Year 8 Parents' Evening Tuesday 16th June 4.30pm-7.30pm
As it has been previously, Parents’ Evenings are run in school. This is to enable an in-person meeting to discuss your son/daughter’s progress in a particular subject with their subject teacher. We strongly advise that your son/daughter attends the evening with you, as it is an excellent opportunity for them to understand how they are progressing in that subject.
The evening will be run using an appointment system only. Only parents with appointments shall be permitted into the school building, and to meet with teachers. If you do not have an appointment with a specific teacher, then unfortunately you will be unable to meet them on the evening. This is essential, to ensure the smooth organisation of the evening.
Appointments can be made via the Arbor App/Parent Portal. Please login and scroll down to Guardian Consultations. Should you have more than one child at the school please ensure that you go to the profile of the child you are booking appointments for. Appointments can be made from 6.00pm on Friday 5th June 2026 until 12.00pm on Tuesday 16th June 2026. Should you require support logging in to the Arbor App/Parent Portal, please email admin@goffs.herts.sch.uk.
A polite reminder that, as was the case with online appointments, each appointment will be limited to 5 minutes. If further discussion is required, it may be necessary for staff to arrange to speak with you at a different time. When booking appointments, please ensure that you leave a 5-minute gap between appointments, to enable movement around the school.
On arrival, please enter the school by the Main Reception, and sign in. Here, you will be able to receive the locations of all staff members, your appointments will be viewable on the Arbor App/Parent Portal.
